Rose Hill Salutes Our Veterans
2011
The Rose Hill Civic Association proudly honored veterans and those on active duty with the Armed Forces from our community with a special Veteran's Day display across from Rose Hill School. Although we paid for the basic signs, Mike Duncan of Lettercraft Signs added the names to each one individually at no extra charge. Donnie Krause allowed us to use his yard and hooked up a light to highlight the flag at night. Thanks to Dave and Linda Nichols and Justin Sweeney, who helped set up the display. Justin is a student at Mark Twain who lives nearby. He also attended Rose Hill Elementary. Thanks to all of you who contributed toward the cost of the signs. We already have names to be added for next year. Hopefully, this will become a tradition in Rose Hill. To all our veterans and those on active duty
