Franconia Road 6100 - On September 16 at 4:50 p.m., a woman approached a man as he helped his wife into their car. The woman attacked the man and struggled with him, removed his wallet from his pants pocket and ran away. The woman was last seen running westbound across Grovedale Drive. The suspect was described as black, 30 years old, five feet nine inches tall and weighed about 160 pounds.
Springfield Plaza 6300 - A man approached an Alexandria area man, 58, as he got into his car. The first man brandished a handgun and demanded money from the second man. The victim relinquished his cash and the suspect ran away.
