This is a perfect class for experienced and inexperienced drivers alike, from Teens though Senior Citizens, presented by MPO Tim Thomas of the FCPD and John Lam, a Driver Education Specialist from the Fairfax County Adult Education Department. Fairfax County Police are investigating a bias incident that occurred at Hayfield Elementary School, located at 7633 Telegraph Road in the Franconia area, between 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 and 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2003. School Security personnel discovered a swastika written on a side window of the school. The Fairfax County Police Department recognizes the potential harm that bias crimes and incidents can have in a community, and consequently encourages people to report them. All bias crimes and incidents are investigated thoroughly.

Commerce Street, 7200 block Spoiler and tail-lights taken from parked vehicle. Edsall Road, 6200 block Three camcorders reported stolen. Edsall Road, 6400 block Beer taken from business. Farrington Avenue, 6000 block License plates taken from parked vehicle. Franconia Commons Drive, 6300 block Purse reported stolen. Helmsdale Lane, 5500 block Cellular telephone reported stolen. Hillary Court, 6200 block Two bicycles reported stolen. John Marr Drive, 4500 block Computer reported stolen. McWeadon Lane, 7600 block Clothes taken from residence. Rockleigh Way, 6600 block Wheel taken from parked vehicle. Rolling Creek Way, 6800 block Electrical box taken from home under construction. Springfield Boulevard, 6800 block Luggage taken from hotel room. Springfield Mall, 6500 block Wallet reported stolen. Springfield Plaza, 6300 block Wallet reported stolen Springfield Plaza, 6400 block Cigarettes and cigars taken from business.
