ANIMAL RELATED INCIDENTS

Worsley Way

A ten-year-old Alexandria area girl was attempting to pet a dog that was being walked by a man, when the dog jumped up and bit the girl on the cheek. The girl was taken to INOVA Healthplex in Springfield and treated for her minor injuries. The owner and the dog were not known to the victim. The dog was described as small and brown in color. The owner was described as white, six feet two inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
